House panel passes bill on flood insurance reform
WASHINGTON, D.C. – The U.S. House Financial Services Committee has passed House Resolution 5114, the Flood Insurance Reform Priorities Act of 2010, which contains provisions written by U.S. Rep. Jerry Costello that would prevent mandatory purchase requirements for flood insurance from taking effect for five years.
