Insurers May Be Spared From Paying to Unwind Financial Firms
May 7 (Bloomberg) — Financial regulation legislation that would require property, casualty and auto insurers to help pay to liquidate failed banks may be changed by the Senate to excuse companies that don’t contribute to a future market collapse.
