Ban on earmarks could be bad news to local agencies, small towns
I read Danny Westneat’s column about earmarks in Wednesday’s Times [“Missing the mark on earmarks,” NWWednesday, Feb. 9]. I’m thinking he knows what is on that island in Alaska besides 50 residents. Would including that information have made the earmark seem less silly?
